The City of Crosses houses New Mexico State University, and the school is where Adam Young directs its sporting broadcast department. It's coming on 10 years since the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument was established, so Patrick Nolan, executive director of the Friends of the Organ Mountain-Desert Peaks and Carrie Hamlin, director of the Las Cruces Green Chamber of Commerce sat down to highlight the positive impact of the national monument. They also called attention to the 10-year anniversary celebration of the OMDP national monument happening on May 18 at the Las Cruces Convention Center.
