Visit Las Cruces will be hosting an all-out free gala with live music, art, dancing along with a car show, beer and wine garden, a farmers and crafts market and so much more. Frank Ray will be headlining the concert along with Rodeo Norteño and Proud Pete performing. And the best part it's all free! The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, from 2-10 p.m. at the Downtown Plaza.

Not only has Las Cruces become an excellent location to ride gravel bikes, but Doña Ana County offers many miles of designated trails and roads to explore and discover on two pedal-powered wheels. A Gravel Adventure Field Guide highlights various places of interest along the way, some of which include restaurants, coffee houses, camping locations and photo ops. They are currently available in the Visit Las Cruces office, and according to the gravel guide website, are in progress of being distributed to the two local bike shops--Outdoor Adventures and Ride On Sports--Organ Outfitters, Grounded Coffee, and Southwest Expeditions (while supplies last). One can also have a guide sent via mail by requesting it from their website: GravelAdventureFieldGuide.com.

Aden Hills Off-Highway Vehicle use area is a designated off-road zone by the Bureau of Land Management. It is approximately 8,700 acres of desert terrain specifically earmarked for the driving of off-road vehicles and is located about 20 miles southwest of Las Cruces. To get to Aden Hills OHV Area from Las Cruces, follow I-25 west to the Corralitos Exit (MM 127), then travel west approximately 3 miles on Robert Larson Blvd (southern frontage road), turning south on County Road B-005. Follow the County Road for approximately 5 miles, and look for sign on the east side of the road, just south of a cattleguard.
