He describes how La Posta began with Katy Griggs Camunez and how she developed and placed it on the map through her character, larger than life personality, and treating everyone who sat down to the traditional “New Mexico” Mexican food recipes served since its beginnings in 1939.
Hutchinson also discusses his other restaurant and hotel, Hacienda de Mesilla, and its brushes with fame.

David Crider of Southwest Expeditions lets us know why Las Cruces is the destination to hike, bike, raft -- and experience paranormal adventures -- by arranging and giving various tours. Experience ¡mira! Las Cruces

Visit Las Cruces will be hosting an all-out free gala with live music, art, dancing along with a car show, beer and wine garden, a farmers and crafts market and so much more. Frank Ray will be headlining the concert along with Rodeo Norteño and Proud Pete performing. And the best part it's all free! The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, from 2-10 p.m. at the Downtown Plaza.

Gravel Biking Around Las Cruces

Not only has Las Cruces become an excellent location to ride gravel bikes, but Doña Ana County offers many miles of designated trails and roads to explore and discover on two pedal-powered wheels. A Gravel Adventure Field Guide highlights various places of interest along the way, some of which include restaurants, coffee houses, camping locations and photo ops. They are currently available in the Visit Las Cruces office, and according to the gravel guide website, are in progress of being distributed to the two local bike shops--Outdoor Adventures and Ride On Sports--Organ Outfitters, Grounded Coffee, and Southwest Expeditions (while supplies last).
